What if the RMC started using a blog?
Hello there! If you're reading this, then you're a member of the RMC and have been invited to see our trial blog and to try your hand at 'blogging'! Yes, you too can be a part of one of the latest crazes on the Web.
I've created a blog for the RMC known as "duPont RMC" and easy to find at: http://dupontrmc.blogspot.com
One way we could use this blog (if you want to) is to post resource offers and our comments about them. In other words, rather than send us an email, Pat could post a message here about the Dictionary of National Biography. Then we can all post comments and replies to that message. Then everyone in the RMC can read and respond to the information in one place - the blog.
This would mean fewer email messages if it worked. It would make it easier (in my opinion) to follow all the comments related to a request from Pat. It would require that we regularly login to this blog and check for messages, which some may see as a negative aspect.
What comments do you have about the blog idea? Post your own message to this blog and let us all know!!

Another benefit to the blog...When I first posted my message, I put in the wrong URL for this blog. I can edit it and put the correct URL inside my original posting and you'd never know unless you saw it before my correction.
